Location: In the center of Panagia, 7 km from Limenas – approximately 11 minutes by car
History:

  •  The Sotirelis family started producing olive oil in 1915. 
  •  Initially, the mill operated with a waterwheel powered by the village’s three mountain springs. 
  •  In the early 1930s, the first three-column hydraulic press was installed. 
  •  In 1968, Sotiris Sotirelis and his son Nikolaos patented an improved hydraulic press that increased efficiency and improved olive oil quality. 
  •  The traditional olive mill operated until 2006. 

Exhibits and experiences:

  •  Reproduction of a traditional water-powered olive mill 
  •  2-ton granite millstones, hydraulic presses, separators 
  •  Complete traditional production line 
  •  Audiovisual tours in multiple languages on olive oil production 
  •  Historical photographic archive of the family and material related to olive cultivation 
  •  Olive oil tasting on the upper floor
